Yazd World Trade Center

Located at Imam Hossein Square in Yazd, the Yazd World Trade Center is an iconic mega mixed-use development spanning over 149,000 m² across four basement levels and up to eleven stories above ground. Designed by Bana Razan Aivan Co., the complex integrates an 852-unit premier shopping mall, 90 modern office suites centered around landscaped courtyards, a 400-bed international luxury hotel, and state-of-the-art convention facilities. Following the natural curvature of the site, the architecture reinterprets the traditional Iranian "Ivan" through a dynamic 3D parametric double-skin lattice along the western facade. This responsive envelope drastically reduces desert solar heat gain while central skylit atriums channel daylight deep into the interior. Complemented by rooftop wellness gardens, an open-air pool, a dedicated transit drop-off lane, and over 1,850 parking bays, the project redefines contemporary desert architecture through smart bioclimatic design.
